Are the Weather tech floor liners worth the investment?
I have an order in the cart ready to place, just thought I’d hear some reviews first.

    Thanks waytogo

IMO a must have if you are a sportsman. I won’t own another vehicle without them.

They are nice and good looking. The only downside in my opinion based on many years using wt and others is they can fall short in winter when tracking in slush and snow. Once it melts the water sloshes over the sides and onto your floor. For that reason I use Lund Catch-It’s in the winter. Formally known as Catch All’s.

My husband got the WeatherTech floor liners for his birthday last year, and he loves them! They collect all the crud that stick to your feet, and they easily lift out to shake the dirt, sticks, etc. back into the grass. They were pricey, but worth it.

Scott I have them in all my vehicle and like them except once they have been in use for a while I can not find a way to clean them to look like new. Example is like black will get more gray or like it is dry looking and not the nice black look when new. They do a very good job. IMHO

The new Traverse has captains chairs vs bench seating so I like that it’s one piece for the 2nd & 3rd rows.

    Thanks for the responses waytogo

We have the same liner in our traverse, it is nice, it’s not as easy to get the back row out to clean, but it’s a lot easier to clean up the food our toddler throws on the floor (and gets stepped on before finding it) than it would be if carpet.

Have them in my truck in the front row and like them in there also, lot easier to clean the crud out than it is carpet and they don’t move around (I didn’t pin it down like your supposed to) like the factory ones did.

I have the Husky liners in my Traverse. Once you have a molded floor liner you will never go back to the old floor mat. I also have Husky Liners in my wife’s Camry. In the future all my vehicles will have molded floor mats.

Yes, they are totally worth it. Even Mrs. Grouse’s car stays clean, or at least is easier to shovel out.

Cripes, Suzuki. Grab a shovel and shovel the snow out of your truck once in a while, would you? It’d take a a couple of gallons of liquid to come over the sides of the WT’s in all the vehicles I’ve had them.

Get them Scott. I have them in both of my vehicles and won’t go without again.

Will send a pm with another tip also.

Yep – good USA product. Have them in a Tahoe and kick myself every winter for not putting them in a Ford Fusion – bought the $40 el cheapos instead. Won’t do that again.

I have a set in my truck and have been very happy with them. Every couple weeks I just take them out give a shake and put back in as they are very easy to install and remove yet they stay where they are supposed to. Would buy again.

People who are very active in the winter would notice this. Ice fisherman for example.

Kick the snow off the boots before you get in? I do that and my floor mats never have puddles of water.

I bought a new truck in February. I went to order the weather tech liners because they looked much nicer than the husky liners I bought for my 07. The place I ordered them from talked me into the new version of the husky liners that have been redesigned that are similar to the weather tech but are much more flexible and easier to clean. The shop sells both brands. I will say that I couldn’t be happier with the new husky liners.

Check out the Husky X-act Contour series: http://www.huskyliners.com/X-act-Contour-Floor-Mats

I have had Weather Tech liners before and I thought they were kind of slippery material (more of a hard plastic). The X-act Contour mats are more rubber like. Feet don’t slide around as much in the winter!

Softer and less slippery than Weather Tech.

I ordered the WeatherTech through Cabelas. Same exact product you’d recieve from the WT website only with the Cabelas logo.
They were on sale and didn’t have to pay for shipping, creating a $50 savings. So since I was already on the Cabelas site I applied the savings to a Shimano Sedona. So I got the reel for $10, How’s that for a rationalization?

I have them…… I don’t think there that nice! after about 6 months one of mine started loosing its shape and wont stay where it is supposed to be…… anad now there both doing it. I know there is a lot of companies making a similar product for cheaper and I think I will go there next time

    just my 2 cents

I just got a set of Husky Weather Beater front and rear liners as well as the cargo liner for our Tahoe. If you ask me, the price is ridiculous, but they fit well, and if they do their job, they’re probably worth it. Time will tell, I guess.

Just looked em up. Those front ones are sharp!
I love cargo liners. They have worked out so well in all our SUV’s. I cant imagine being without one with an SUV. And every time we get rid of one the cargo area is still like brand new.

I’ve had a set of the liners in my F-150 crew cab for over 5 years (two different trucks). The liners still look great and the carpet looked like new when I traded my last truck in. They’re not easy to put in or take out, but on the other hand you rarely have to do that. I’ve power washed them maybe three times since I’ve owned them. Great product!

I have the one piece, over the hump, floor liners in my pickup and love them. The one piece is a pain to get out and clean but prevents any spillage on inside of them and lets me set dirty crap on the hump without worrying. Make sure you get the “good” FloorLiner ones, not just the regular all-weather mats they also sell.

Husky liners are my new favorites. More flexible and they attach with the factory connectors.
