As a life long Vikings fan, I have to admit – when I was young and impressionable (8 years old), there was about a year where my favorite team was the ’85 Bears. Loved Payton, McMahon, Gault, Singletary, Dent, Hampton, and who could forget the Fridge! What a cast of characters that team was. I was a total fanboy – even wrote Sweetness a fan letter and got a reply with an autographed picture.(Actually autographed, not printed-on). I was young and stupid and I colored all over it with marker. I still have it, though! Should’ve framed it.

Hated them, but yup, great team.

Lyle Alzado he had a split personality. Brutal on the field off the field a gentle giant described by teammate.

Take the ball deep take the top off the defense! Moss all day! Also, first game I ever attending was a preseason game vs jacksonville at the dome. John Randle nearly suplexed their RB at the time (who knows, who cares who it was). I was hooked on Randle after that moment.

Randy Moss. Adrian Peterson. Barry Sanders. Peyton Manning. Tom Brady. Brett Farve. Reggie White.

Vikings fan here, but i also liked those 1960’s Packer teams. Favorite player to watch was Dick Butkus, middle linebacker for the crappy Bears teams back then. He was an absolute animal on every play and crazy good.
