Here is one of a Little Buck that came right into the decoys. He walked right through the decoys and stopped at the front of the boat. He locked eyes with my buddy and made a hasty retreat.

December 14, 2003 at 7:38 am #1953My dad with “another banded drake” That’s 2 years in a row for him. Usually we go about 4-5 years between bands where we hunt.

December 14, 2003 at 7:43 am #1954My brother Mark with a nice hunt he and I had. Nice to be able to shoot more than one goose now in the exterior zone. Note the headless Bull Can. The dog actually made 2 retrieves for that one.

December 18, 2003 at 12:14 am #19935 out of a flock by one guy is awesome Kevin, all the planets have to line up to have that happen. Those early season birds are fun aren’t they! I saw a guy shoot 4 out of a flock with 3 shots before, but 5 is nice. Hey FLICK, I do remember that big ole Dodge at the Super Value, next time I’ll have to stop you and say hi. That is a mighty fine pintial!

December 18, 2003 at 12:25 am #1994Here is a picture of a hunt that 6 of us had during the first week of November.
The hens are face down to show our shame. It’s not as bad as it seems. 2 of them died along with drakes, and 1 was just a mistake.
Left to right are: My brother Mark, Me, My Brother Brad, and My Dad. My Uncle and Cousin who helped bag the birds are not pictured.
