Well gentlemen, are they all gone now or are there still more to come? I am in the Pool 4 area and the last time I hunted was last Monday. My son was born on November 16 so not a lot of time to get out there. Any birds around??? Any open water??? I have a hard time quitting for the year. I would like at least one more good one. I bet we all say that every time the season comes to a close. Thanks

I am hoping not, but I bet it might be getting slower!!! My good friend Randy Domack hunted the Goose Island area south of La Crosse during last weekend and found his setup to be in the wrong place, but thousands of birds in the sky on Friday. However with a better setup on Saturday, there were no birds to be found!!! He told me that of the 15 truck/trailers at the landing on Sat. night only one hunter had a shot at and nailed a nice greenhead. I was thinking about one more effort as the WI season closes this weekend, does anyone else have better notions than what we have heard here. Don’t dispair goose hunters, we have a couple more weeks!!!
