I have to post a pic of my new tools for this year that I am excited to hunt with. The first is my new lab Reacher which we picked up in early Jan, can’t wait to get outside so we can do some more training as the house is getting a little small. The second is an old american made double gun. This is a hopkins and allen 12 gauge that i am cleaning up over the next week or two. I am hoping to take this 100 year old gun out hunting this fall and try and shoot a duck or pheasant with this gun and then possibly refinish the gun next winter. Should be a fun fall.

    Great looking dog!

Please do a write up when you refinish the gun.

2 excellent new additions – good luck bagging a few birds with them.

Sweet x2! Keep us posted on the dog and gun updates. I have my great-grandfathers pump 16 ga that I have intentions of bagging a bird or two with. Someday, I’d like to incorporate it in a display with a mounted rooster or two.

Still have my Grandpa’s 12 gauge Noble pump shotgun. Get it out a couple times each Fall to relive good memories of Grandpa!
