I didn’t see a trip-swap here on IDOHunting so posting here.

Due to a job loss, I’m not going to be able to get out to ND this year. If it was just me, not a big deal, but my daughter who is 15 has caught the itch. And when you think about it, 15 year old turn into 18 year olds in a blink and are gone from the house off to college and beyond.

So, I’m looking for someone willing to either get us out 1-2 times this season, either field or from boat blind. Perhaps within 1-3 hours of Hudson, WI and preferrably in WI or border water.

In return, I have access (family land) to 1800 acres in N. North Dakota and hunt it yearly. I’d be willing to guide you up there or provide you with access to the land in trade.

Maybe you are someone with small boat and knowledge of P3, P4, or P5 and haven’t hunted in a few years. I do have all decoys (both land and water), have a good dog, I just don’t have land or small boat to access.

If anyone is open to discussing a swap, please send me a PM. I’d love to get her out on some birds this year, just can’t afford the ND trip.

I have an 18 yr old daughter who loves to hunt. I got a couple nice spots on 3 and 4 I could take you. I also own a house in Nd. where is your land located?

    Corey and Chris, PM’s sent.

Chris, I used to have access to the Apple River near Amery. Late season it was one of best spots I’ve ever hunted, including ND. There was just no other open water, of course ducks were usually closed by then but the honker shooting was fantastic.
Corey, I have a friend who used to take me on P5 so I’d love to get out on 3 or 4. And no you’ll never find me in one of your spots in the future!!

    Cat:

Don’t anyone take this the wrong way, but wouldn’t you be able to take them on the WI side and just not hunt for the day??? IDK, just wondering if its even legal???

I would suppose you might be able to. The question is at what time are you “assisting in the taking”. I personally would not want to fight it in court.
