Randy, There are alot of new geese in the area…Alot lookin to dump..The usually circle once or twice…But these are comin from way up….an just keep comin an comin…They want in bad…What are you doin on Mallard point??? ..lol..j.k That point gets hit hard….but lots of birds shot off it year after year…But I know better that you werent there…You were back up in the dike..
Mark, I dont think any major major pushes of northern birds have come through yet from what I’ve seen…Def some new birds around though..Some pretty willing to commit sucide…BUT they know they got a good chance of makin it when yellowdog is blastin at them…

OK, I’m excited again. Went scouting on WI side of 5A last night. Everything without current was froze up and saw very few ducks. Places where there should have been dozens. I know that pool 5 stays open longer and I know that there are more ducks there right now. Do you really believe though that there is still a lot of good hunting to be had and a lot of ducks to come from the north yet? This is my first year and am looking forward to some good duck hunting after Thanksgiving.
There were no geese flying last night where there should have been lots.
Still not time to put away the decoys?

Hey I think I shoot pretty good for a one eyed left hander. Just a note; you waterfowlers might want to take a minute to think about the Armistice Day Storm and the hunters that were lost.Mn. public radio website has a good report on it including audio and slides. Its an amazing story of tragedy and heroism and is part of our heritage and history.
