Anyone heading out for the first ever early early good hunt in MN? Fortunately the weather wont be the usual super hot August temps.

That is funny stuff!!! Who would have thought 6 months ago when you were planning your wedding to get it done before hunting season the DNR would pull a fast one on ya

I’d be curious as to why they (DNR) are having this early season instead of just raising the limit to 10 birds during the September hunt. My thought is this is just going to push the birds into towns 3 weeks sooner and cause more problems and complaints in areas where they won’t be able to be hunted. Plus it’s still summer. Anybody else have any thoughts?

Never thought of it that way. Good point The longer they get shot at, the smarter they get.

That is exactly what happens! Been there and done that in the metro areas around Racine/Kenosha, WI
