I have the draggin jigs in 1/16 and they are awesome. I need to order more of them, and some in the 1/8th.

I second the black 1/16 for live bait jigging. I fish the Iowa River primarily, and with the low level and flow we have right now, these jigs are working great. Far less snags than my buddy, who is using standard Northland 1/16 jigs. I would strongly advise trying these jigs out if you havent already, they have certainly earned a top place in my tackle bag.

I spent 3 days in central SD last week. Oh my are the snows and blues thick out there. Well, all the waterfowl was thick, but a major push of birds was fun to see again.

The Doland area seems to the epicenter with the most birds spotted. A person could have shot several limits right off the highway out there. I couldn’t believe how close to the road they were sitting.

Man I love spring! The waterfowl arriving, the roosters fighting and deer spreading back out. It was a great trip.

Good luck! I had 3 little girls riding with me. Otherwise I would have taken the time to hunt.

    Bring back some pics!!

The carnage continues!!! I am hearing of 100 plus goose shoots going on… What appears to have happened is the late spring in Canada sent the geese back to the Dakotas, whereas they found just as much snow. Continuing south, they are starting to find open areas for food. But so have the hunters found them. Just started having computer problems, so may not be able to get a couple of pics up, but got a couple of some big shoots.

Matt sent me that pic just before he went out for the last time. They shot 143 and 106 in the two days they were out there…
