Midweek slap

Well with working 12 hour shifts i dont always have the time to scout for the next day. Anyway the boys found a good field that was sort of on a penninsula which had us worried we would be to close to the birds. With a good wind and multiple roosts we were able to work mutliple small groups of mallards. Some of the guys got a little trigger happy early on whacking a few hens. We ended with 28 greenheads, 7 hens, 2 pinnys, and 2 GWT. A great hunt that lasted about 45 minutes. Have had a few good shoots here midweek between night shifts. Got all the buds up this weekend on the scouting trail hoping for some piles of green. – Quintin
