Here’s another video I put together of a hunt mid last week. High winds = lots of dead snow geese!
We had a really consistent spring. No hugemungous #’s hunt, but 20 – 65 bird half day sets was the norm. Definitely a weird weather year.
Already looking forward to fall…..can’t come soon enough!

Great video. Next time you should have the dog sit in front of the camera and interview him on how the hunt went.

We were hunting near you guys around this time. I recognize the guy in the beginning of the video talking…a friend and I met him on the road one day looking at a big roost. Nice decoys too, thanks for the samples.
Guessing that big wind hit that Sunday morning for my lovely drive home. I missed the best shoot of the season for our group! 
I assume you were the one we talked to on Saturday night aways NW of Litchville, ND? We did pretty good that night…..30 birds for the 4 of us. Not bad with zero wind.
The hunt in the video was Monday 3/26.
Sunday 4/1 we missed wind and FOG for our drive home! Our buddies shot 138 that morning.

Yep, that was us. Our group split up our hunts and you ran into my friend Saturday night.
We got hit hard with poor weather during most of our hunts out there…warm (hot), lack of wind and lots of sun. 
Hopefully next year will be better, this year was a tough one!
