Build me a duck boat….

Just dreaming here…

If you were to build the perfect duck boat, what would it be?

Two boat options I would be interested in acquiring some day… 1 for smaller lakes, slews, etc, and 1 for bigger water, Mississippi, etc… (or maybe they are the same boat for some guys)…

Anyway, as a dream boat, expense means nothing – what options would you put into it? What motor? What accessories? What camo systems? What do you anticipate the final cost would be?

I’m considering possibly building or buying in the next 5 years or so – just starting to think of what my options are. Fun topic, go nutz. Dream money is free.

These guys make some pretty nice rigs. I would buy the 17ft back water model with all the options and a big mud motor of some kind!

That’s a fun thing to dream about. Personally, I already hunt in my “dream boat” for small lakes, slews, etc. It’s the same alumacraft “ducker” that my grandfather hunted out of 60 years ago. Our group now owns 6 of these boats and love them all. Of course, we had to build custom 4 place trailer w/ decoy/netting/paddle box. For big water, that’s a different story. That’s where the creativity and hopefully unlimited budget will direct you. So many fun options to think about. Have fun!!
