If all the walleye baits were removed it was probably something a guy just threw away.

If all the baits in the box were Bass baits – It was a real fisherman who lost it. If it was a walleye fishermans box the baits are no good to him anyway. he can not catch anything but bottom feeders anyway ( Carp, suckers, WALLEYE.)

Welcome to the site as a member DeepDriver49

It is very noble of you to try and find the owner
I know if I lost just a plano let alone a tackle box, I would be sick

Stick around sir, hope to see some post

If nothing comes of this I hope you’re rewarded with a couple big fish for your efforts. It is good to see examples of sportsmen looking out for each other when given a chance.

I’m sure it’s not…but my kid’s small blue and grey tackle box is missing, not a lot of stuff in there. but there was like 5 or 6 power bait packs, hooks, sinkers, and a few raps. it has 1 fold out tray when you open the lid. it would have had to float from the winona area down there.

I am going to be washing my sillosocks for the first time. I am going to fill a large tub with water and a little soap and clean them off and use a sponge when needed, then I will rinse with hose and let dry. My question is, do I need to worry about well water from the hose staining the socks? Or if anybody has a better idea for cleaning let me know. Leaving for first Canada trip 9/24 so I need to get on it.

It’s Canada in Sept……I wouldn’t worry too much about dirty socks

If ours ever get REAL dirty, we’ll set em up in the back yard and power wash em. We’ve only had to do that once or twice though.

    Have fun!

They were put away pretty muddy and the bottoms are almost black. My opinion has always been, if they are close enough to notice dirt or blood on the sock, they are close enough to die! Maybe the hose or power washer is a quicker way.

    Thanks!
