Got back from SD late last week. Had a good trip, with lots of birds around and plenty of birds down. The snows gave us the finger a couple days due to lack of weather, so we mainly stuck with pounding on ducks.

Had a couple pintail hunts that will go down in the memory bank forever….looking through flocks of 10-20-50’s picking on the ones with the longest sprigs! Never seen anything like it…..might not ever again. Amazing year for these birds.

Back home just in time for it to get good again….hopefully!

Great stuff Jake, my buddies are hitting the Canada honkers today. No news yet, but I guess the Missouri is starting to fill up pretty good south of Pierre.

Sounds like a good hunt jake. My buddy said they are pushing pretty good through Nebraska too. He has one that’s going to find the wall when we get back from our Nebraska snow goose hunt this spring dropped it off to a guy last night down there.
