anyone hunting on pool 8 anywhere? i went out to scout for some birds last week with that high water but it seemed the ducks didnt mind. i saw a couple good flocks of birds, nothin special though. my question is, will these ducks hang around with this high water? and will this high water hurt or increase duck numbers through the season?
I live on French Island and took a ride today from about downtown to the dam and only saw a couple here and there.
On opening day only heard maybe 5 or 6 shots the whole day. Usually the shots would have been 100 to 200 at least. Not sure if they will stay or not, but they are surely spread out big time! Hang in and hope for the best, the water should go down and maybe things will get back to more like normal!
Did anyone hunt/launch from goose island for the opener? Word on the Street was both landings were packed…but I’m just curious as to where guys are hunting b/c everything is still under water 
any reports from Goose?
I don’t have much of an idea of the landings up this way, but when I was driving back to school (UW-LaX) Sunday night, the area below Goose Island was LOADED with birds. The skies were packed with birds. I’m sure that’s old news though! 
If it flies it dies! Were taken em down! Tomorrow Man!
