Northern ducks

Spent the weekend in Northwest WI. I do believe that the migration South is beginning to happen. There were some decent size flocks of Geese coming down on Sunday. There is also a ton of water up there. It was like hunting the flooded timber of Arkansas. Ducks were plentiful once we found what water was holding them. It was more difficult than years past when the “good” water was limited. Grouse and Woodcock rounded out the weekend. Leaves are peaked out and falling fast! Wish I was back up there!

thanks for the updated and great hunt. i would agree with the start of the migration, here in southern mn i saw a ton more geese in town then weeks past.

ya but i really cant wait untill we can use MoJo’s here in sothern MN because it will make killing them mallards alot more fun!
