In Manitoba, generally you won’t find birds with color until near the close of season. There limits are eight ducks per license. The only restrictions are 4 cans and 4 Red Heads. there were days where we shot 30 Pintails and you could see that some were drakes. The mallards had a little more color. All I can tell you is we followed the law and stayed within our limits.

Looks like you had a great hunt “Drake.” I’m going back on Friday this week for the full 9 days next week. (4 Guy’s – three dogs.) I hope we do as well!! I’ll post a report after 10/18.

I was supposed to go up on the 11th until the 18th. however my mothers husband has brain cancer and Hospice has now come in. Things are changing therer way too fast. So, I’m staying home and helping out my mother.
