Is everybody ready or are people just gonna wait for archery opener….I personally cant wait and Friday night probably will be one with little or no sleep. We currently have a couple of options for fields and our scouting on Friday will ultimately decide where we will be……Season is almost here guys…have fun

Literally can’t wait…. All I can think of is opaque white patches on long black tubes; @ <10 yds
Got two 8′ pit blinds dug into a pasture with 100+ locals using daily. Number of county locals is un-countable with Delmonte using up alot of acres to the north during this time of year and the regional refuge lying in close southern proximity.

Let it rain flying liver all day, good luck boys

Went out yesterday morning for the WI early opener. We were in a refuge area in N. Wisconsin. Camped the night before in the area. My advice is to make sure you have plenty of bug spray and re-fills for the therma cell if you are going to be near water. We called the hunt after about an hour because of the all the mosquitos.
Did see a lot of geese moving. Poor dog was just getting swarmed.

Yup pretty pumped, our wheat field has 400 strong in there for the last week or so, they make a straight line for it every morning.

Hopefully this cold snap will knock some of those skeeters out of the air also!!! But with that comes the fall encounter of the tick, which is just about to emerge from its egg lair of this summer.

My buddy got 9 on Wed. (don’t know if he had one or two others with), heard no report for Thur and today should be the best day with our weather…
