We were finally able to string together a couple decent hunts this weekend to close out the 2009 duck season……Nothing “lights out”, but we relished in what we were able to put down after such a wretched November. Finally picked on a Black duck Friday, and had another just sneak past on Sunday…..didn’t think we were going to get one this year!

Ended her right last night with a loaner goose feet down at 10 yds right at closing time!

Spring can’t come fast enough now!

That is great! Thanks for the pro pics.

We sure had a bust for a season down this way, lots of fustrated fowlers for sure.

Come on dude, you know in your heart I was the one who hit that black duck!!!

What a strange year. Cold and good in October, warm and terrible in Nov, and good for my one December hunt. Not a year I hope will be repeated soon.

Looks like with the on coming weather we only missed out on about 2-3 huntable days, WI season set up very well again.

Pretty sure we all hit him Dan!

A few more photos that are more telling of our last month of the season.

Snowing to beat hell, windy as a mother…..starin at blank skies.

I bet you can’t shoot that branch off…..wow, guess you can.

I thought you said it was a black duck?
