I second that opinion. I have one and it works great. I plow as many as 4 long driveways with mine and it’s a fast way to move snow. My cousin has the Moose County plow and gives it high praise. That model has the tapered height like the big plow trucks.

ATV’s make it fun to plow too! I have a 60″ County plow on a Suzuki Kingquad 700, and I’am thinking about switching out the blade to a 72″. I plow my own driveway which is 1/4 mile long, my church parking lot, the pastors two driveways, and another driveway south of my house. That parking lot just takes so long, because it’s such a big area.

I’ve heard both stories, one side is that the ATV plows are useless, the other side can’t live without them. Is there a type of heavy snow/slush which the blade won’t clear, and do the blades go down to the pavement?

I’ve been plowing with an ATV for over 10 years. The plows for the most part always cut down to the pavement, unless it’s been packed down from veicle traffic. They are good at cutting away slush also. The best part of an ATV plow is that you can do sidewalks, and walkways in the yard without tearing up the sod like a pickup will. You can get tight to objects, and get to alot more places then a truck can which requires less shoveling.

If it’s not working for somebody, they are doing something wrong. I won’t be without mine now.

Mine works great. Lot faster than snowblower on long drive.

Me and three buddies went out for the day to do some waterfowl hunting. We started the day off by going to a corn field that was cut for silage. The first flock that came in was a flock of twenty or so cacklers. We knocked two of them down. Should have been more but they sure are some little geese. With in the next thirty minutes we picked off four more for our limit. Only four are pictured though. After we picked up we went to a couple spots we know there is wood ducks and decided to do a little jump shooting. Well it took us three different jumps and about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our six woodies. 4 were drakes and two were hens. One of the drakes was a beauty. So i decided to put him in the freezer to mount it myself. Sorry for no pics of the ducks they are on my buddies camera.
