Anyone have any reports from tappan/Dawson area of ND are there any or many ducks around and are the fields harvested and are they dry enough to drive a pickup/trailer out to set-up decoys. All comments are welcome I am heading out there Sat. morn from Roch. I plan to be there for 5 days Thanks.
There are a good concentration in that area as of right now with good size in quantity and quality for Mallards. I talked to a friend in Bisbee last night and the northern part of ND is expecting snow today and tomorrow and with the cold Canadian front up there more should be moving down, good luck! Fields are still fairly wet but should be managable.

Just talked to my brother in the central part of the state and there are plenty of birds around. Hopefully the cold weather their having in Canada will push more down, heading out next Wednesday morning myself.

Talked to my son up in Fargo yesterday…starting to see more mallards. This cold weather must be doing the trick.
X2 talked to my sister and brother in-law in Devils Lake tonight and he was out and said the birds are starting to funnel down…good luck out there whoever is heading to North Dakota! 
Heard the ponds are starting to freeze over as well.
Ponds DID freeze over…..but our contact says they’re opening back up today.
No more little ducks, but mallards and geese should be pouring on down. Heading out Monday! Hoping for snows and greenheads…..and a swan!
