    woodies, woodies and more woodies on pool 5. Very few mallards(maybe 10) and teal(maybe 15-20) seen, shot our woodrows and one blue-winger.

    With some great friends, we hid out on some some pools off the backwaters. (loved the weather) I put three on the deck, 2 woodies and a teal. Went out Monday, more woodies. Was to quite, where did everyone go? To work?

    Glad to see the woodducks are somewhere. Between me and my buds we hunted McLeod,Wright, and Meeker counties and not a single woodie was shot and very few were seen.Even walked some creeks and the crow river with none even sited. These are spots that ALWAYS puts a few birds in the air on Sunday afternoon. Congrats on some tasty treats!

    We had the worst opener ever. We saw very few ducks and heard very little shooting. We got zero, I cant ever remember saying that on opener! I was so upset that I left work early monday morning and hit my sod farm to shoot a couple geese. It was fun but sure is a lot of work for two birds. When it was 5 it was better. Anyways, me and the dog had a blast.

    12 woodies Saturday, 5 on Sunday. Wasn’t hunting an area condusive to much besides woodies, so didn’t get anything else. Did see quite a few mallards high though.

    Don’t do openers But been shootin’ ducks this week pretty good. Did another solo Woodie shoot this morning.
