Located a field with some birds in it about an hour south of me yesterday, secured permission, and called up my brother who doesn’t get out much. Got there this morning and set up in the rain. 2 flocks and we were picking up the spread by 7:40, It was a great morning in the field with my brother. On another note, if you hunt rain or shine, the Gamehide Conquest packable raingear kept me 100 percent dry in the field today! First time I used it, and I am a believer!

The early season limit is 5 a piece, 10 possession…. Did you pull stakes cause you thought you were limited out? Nice birds anyway!!!

    Nicely done WF.

Great to see you on the site and posting about your hunts. Congrats on a good day even despite the bad but good waterfowl weather.

i dont understand why they close the subzone untill duck season while the whole rest of the state is open. there arent a whole lot of birds in my area that arent on the river.
