Just curious if anyone knows of some face paint they make for dogs. My lab is very white or Ivory colored and I would like to get him covered up a bit more. We have been hunting some sod farms this early season and doing well but now that the birds are a bit smarter I think my dog needs a little face paint. He sits in his blind but his head sticks out and on the green grass he is very easy to see. I used mud on his face in canada last year when we were having a hard time finishing the snows. It sounds crazy but it did make a difference.

    Thanks for any advice.

Ya, I try and do the same, but was thinking the paint might help a bit more.

    Thanks

I used some colored hairspray one Halloween to turn my lab into a Cheetah. I used the black spray and it washed out very easily. I think you can get it at Target or Wal-Mart, but for sure any costume store.

How about using a burned cork? This is what we use for waterfowl hunting on our faces.

Use a good oil based paint; that way it won’t wash out and should last all season just kidding.
