Saw a flock (maybe 50 birds…) in a field just off of HWY 52 and just South of CR 46 in Rosemount yesterday at 4pm. I bet those birds were a little pissed about their decision to fly this far North this morning ! I don’t see many whites around here in the spring so it was a cool thing to see …RR

Very cool! I’m betting they all learned a valuable lesson yesterday…

I sure would like to see that flyway shift back this way again. I feel like we have lost a lot of birds to the Dakota’s in the last decade. We used to see snows every year when I was younger and I havent seen a flock around here for a long time.

Thanks for reminding me how old I am getting. Needless to say, I would be a lot bigger waterfowler today had it been like it was when I started hunting. I must say though, I am impressed with the waterfowl I have seen this spring including the sandhills that seem to be everywhere i turn lately.

Who knows could just be that I dont try near as hard as I used to
