This year one of my buddies invited me to go goose hunting with a group of guys he has hunted with for a year or so. Boy was that a mistake IAM HOOKED! i went out 2 times ran up and bought a bling for the next day.Even though it was not my first tmie huntin geese it was my first time huntin with a group of guys who are hard core hunters like them. We have just hammerd the geese every weekend just about the hole season. We are waiting for the ducks to really start migrating here,we just have not seen as many in our area yet. hopping the cold air will push them south right to us.theres nothing like waching geese fall from the sky.

We are on the tail end of the migration right now. yes, there are still some mallards that will continue to come down through december, but most divers and puddlers were migrating through in large numbers the end of october, and up until this tuesday, there was a HUGE number of mallards around and migrating through, the numbers have gotten less and less each day since the weekend. We are still shooting limits, but it is getting tougher and tougher to scratch out a limit each day.
