Our early teal season opened in Nebraska this weekend and I joined a few buddies for a great hunt this morning. We didn’t get a lot of birds due to the thick fog that kept rolling in and out but we had a great time and it was a beautiful morning to be in the marsh.
My first pic shows how thick the fog was when we were walking to our spot. You can tell from a few of the other photos how the fog banks would roll through. The best shooting came when the sun would come out. Those little teal sure are hard enough to hit without fog. By the time you could see them in the fog they were almost straight above you.
