OK. I’ve tried quite a few myself, but I am still looking for that one easy to blow – great sounding snow goose call. Anyone have a favorite that fits this description?
Honestly, most just arn’t easy to blow. ….1.5 minutes into a calling scenario and you’re just completely out of breath and ready to die. Give me some good options here guy’s! (I’m not looking for electronics either.)
    Thanks.

I don’t have an answer for you. Mine is tough to blow as well. I’ve tried others but they don’t sound good. I’ll have to pull mine out of storage for the brand.

I will say however that I rarely attempt to make a series of calls. The best is to have at least two guys making the standard call, 1-2 clucks every 20-30 seconds. Since you are usually calling in only groups of 3 or fewer birds(fall) and quite often singles and doubles, my experience is that you don’t really need a big time series.

Now that theory is completely blown away in the spring when e-calls are used but then you can call in larger flocks of birds.

The brand I have and feel makes the best sound as I’ve compared several, is the Big River snow goose call.
