Bigpike….My plans are to focus more on guiding in 2008 and be a bit more selective about my tournament activities. With $4 gas on the horizon, I’m having trouble justifying 6-7 hour trips to fish in tournaments when we have such high quality fishing in our backyards.

I will of course be running Wissota trips in 2008, but if all the pieces fall into place, I hope to start offering trips on Pool 4 of the Mississippi River as well. I will be working on my OUPV certification this winter, and if I get all my i’s dotted and t’s crossed in time, I anticipate running some Pepin trolling trips this summer in advance of next fall’s big river bite.

    Just got the word…build date = January 17, 2008.

She’ll be on Wissota as soon as the ice leaves!
