On thursday the 25th I had the pleasure of hunting with “trooper448” and my five year old son. We hunted a small lake in Pope county.(sorry but the gps coordinates are not available) It was non stop diver action. By 9am we had 10 ringbills and 2 redheads. We could of shot our limit sooner, but sometimes it’s nice just to watch the ducks come into the decoys. We even had ducks coming into our decoys when we were out with the boat picking them up. We did not see any mallards until we both had our limits. We are going to try it again tuesday, a couple greenheads would be nice but i’m not complaining. This is truely a hunt my son will not forget.
