I nearly needed Prieser!!!

I nearly needed Prieser to round up the Byron fire department this morning and scurry to my garage. I was loading my hunting stuff back in my truck this morning before work when I noticed fire roaring out of my mojo bag which was sitting on a wood bench above gas cans and paint thinner. Apparently the contacts on the batteries were arcing on the sheetmetal casing of the motor. Luckily, I was still in the garage at the time and made some shifty moves to get them out on the driveway. With that said, two mojos are now a pile of melted plastic.

So, word of advice. Make certain that your batteries have the terminal caps installed or they are secured in the battery holder. Also keep gas cans and paint thinner away from the work bench.

Fortunately I have one mojo left which will be out with me tonight.

As a matter of fact, it is my b-day. It couldn’t been a rough start to my 32nd year. I think I figured out that Mandi is getting my a dozen GHG fullbody mallards today. Atleast that is what I was hoping for anyway. I guess a couple new mojos wouldn’t be too bad in light of my debacle this morning.

I was going to tell you that last night I was reviewing some tapes and I have video documentation of Lar’s infamous shoot and release goose from last years GTG. Man was that funny. You can’t see the goose at all, but you can hear the entire conversation.

Wasn’t it your birthday when you tried walking from downtown ‘Kato to your apartment? That was the night you decided to stake camp on the side of Warren hill… then walked back to your apartment hours later wearing nothing but your skivies.

Well, I can’t remember if that was your birthday or not. Who cares… it’s still funny.
