High water and Ducks??

    Yeah we will lose some spots but gain others. Got to find that golden flooded sweet corn field! Other than that I’ve found some spots where there is a over aboundance of food in some high water years and man can it bee great huntin’!

    We need the water to stay high for say 60 days+. Then we will see some stuff!

    the best two years of hunting for me have been the two years that it was flooded… 2 years ago and i believe 4 or 5 years ago. alot more ducks in the area when there is actually water. i will take some of that water u guys got down in lax put it in the chippewa river and pool 4!

    ducks die when the water is high especially woodies high water seasons have been great to me, I think the high water may cause acorns and other hidden tresures to float causing birds to concentrate in areas to feed–If you find woodies in high water situations they are usually in large groups
