For those of you that love the snow goose hunting and get the chance to pound them, I was wondering how many bands you have got.

The crew I hunt with have only shot 6 bands( I got two of them W/neck and leg band, and they are both on my wall)

I love seeing the bands on the birds.

    So how many fellas?????

This past spring was the first time we tried snow goose hunting. We shot a lot of birds but no bands. But I can’t wait for this spring!

What state do you guys go to for hunting snows?

We used to go to Mo but now we go to SD.
The crew I hunt with, we have been hunting them for about 8 years now. Have learned a lot of do’s and dont’s.

We have had good days and we have had bad days.
Bad days are less than 10 birds and good days are 100+

How many guys do you hunt with?

The GOOSE CUTT’EM CREW is 3-6 guys.

I talked to my dad who’s down in TX the other night. He and a friend shot 3 cranes and few snows. They are just pass shooting right now. They had alot of rain and the fields are pretty wet. There going to wait for electronic calls to open to put out a spread. It was hot down there and the dog went for a swim in the pond. They both yeild for him to get out cause theres a 8′ gator in the pond. The farmer had 3 dogs but there all missing. They figure the gators were hungry.
