    They dont taste any different than most other ducks out there.. I have no problem dropping them.

    Its too bad they dont get their full plumage(colors) until spring.. the drakes are some of the coolest looking birds out there, they make an awesome mount.

    It al depends where you are and what they are eating!
    If you are in an area that hey are hanging with the mallards and eating rice, the smiling ducks taste the same.

    To be honest with you I whack the crap out of them. I duck hunt for the shooting not the eating. If I only shot the ducks I wanted to eat it would be a sad day in Gatorville. I don’t see too many steak flavored ducks.

    By the way, if anyone wants some ducks just let me know. I usually have some to get rid of.
