The last 5 mornings have been great down on the river (yeah, 5 mornings straight, I’m beat 
). Thought I should throw out a quick report
The weekend was average for us…..hunting an area away from the crowds got us a bunch of little ducks Saturday and no headaches from dealing with idiots…..14 ducks for 4 guys…..Sunday was slower because our teal vanished? Only 6 woodies on Sunday.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I hunted alone with GREAT success…..Scouting and then hunting the BIG ducks I found before the season really has paid off. The last 3 mornings have been all Mallards and Pintails (although I plucked a little teally this morning to fill up quick before I had to make it to class at 9am). Greenheads have been hard to identify, especially with the clouds this morning.
Geese have also been thick…..been having birds work down to the call even though I haven’t been putting goose dekes out…….Got one to land 15yds infront of my face yesterday

Lot’s of birds still flying around as of this morning…..although it has been noticably less each and everyday.
Taking tomorrow off to rest my legs…….but Friday we’ll hopefully be rockin em again
