Here are our pics from this weekend. We were out by Big stone. Overall it was pretty good this picture is of our first day. there are 2 gadwall(1 drake & 1 hen), 1 drake wiedgon(sp), 2 redheads(they are really hard to identify this time of year), 2 Mallard drakes and 1 drake Pintail.
I am glad to say that we did not shoot a hen mallard all weekend.

Well, as you can see it wasn’t as low as it could have been. According to some of the locals September has been a very wet month for them.

well dang Jr. you did better than me!! I got skunked my first day out on opener, then on saterday night, Lane was out helping me put my decs in bags and I was locking the shed up, he opened the truck door, hit the locks and slamed the door. didn’t think anything of it, well I found out, my keys where in the ignition. well at 2 a.m. and I am supposed to be on the road heading towards the partners place, no can do. I tried for 3 hours to get into that truck, to no avail, had to call a locksmith that I played hockey with, he showed up and took only 5 minuets to open the truck up. so I didn’t even get out on sunday.
