Anyone taking a kid out in the am. on Sat. around here?

I will be out with 2 kids hunting around Lino. Last year I took the same kids out and they were 1 duck sort of filling out!

Dozen mallards dekes and they were really coming in. My neice shot a nice drake blue wing last year. Hopefully she will amaze my again with her single shot 20 gauge

Should be fun in the weather holds.

give me a few more years, I don’t think that the cap guns will do much with the ducks. my 2 boys are only 3 and 2, so we have a few years yet, but they are already got thier own duck calls. hopefully they will know how to call before that hunt.

It is hard not heading out with Mr. Benelli but I was amazed when you have a 13 year old girl knock down a greenhead with a 20 guage!

I remember that I let a pretty good H*LL YEAH! Then she made fun of me for the rest of the day. That was special

I got down to the range today and fired off 3 rounds of skeet to get used to swingin the gun, the wind played havok with them clays, but then what bird flies striat every time. are you guys hunting some secret spots or just on some lakes, I am looking for some new places to hunt, my usual place got drained out and the other one, is no hunting now seeing how they built homes on one side of the slew. any suggestion up around anoka, blaine would be most appreciated.

    thanks
