I think I’m starting to detect a little anger! Speaking of free beer I think its youre turn to bring the beer, for the sat evening duck BBQ. I guess you could drop that off to.

Speaking of the boat, there are just to many memories, in that old scow to replace here yet. I suppose that will change, when she leaves me sittin on the bottom!

Honestly I hope you have a good time at the wedding!

I’ll take lots off pictures, so you won’t miss a thing!

p.s. could you maybe pickup some cigars too? it’s kind of an opening morning tradition.

Yeah, what the heck was my wife thinking I still got up and bowhunted the morning of my wedding We cut it pretty close getting to the church on time though The “refreshments” that night made all the pain of not being able to hunt that evening go away P.S. I am only a Field Staff

When you only have one life to live, you have to live each day to its fullest. This applies primarily to openers, but due to the generousity of Colklink83, I may be able to make the wedding as well as waterfowl. Best of both worlds.

Besides, I have re-rigged and touched up a bunch of decoys that I bought from another real nice ida’er (thanks chappy) that are itching to start working birds.

well my aunt and uncle got married during duck hunting season. he came bolting into the church with only 10 minuets to get dressed still wearing his waders and all camoed up from head to toe and also has his face painted. needless to say, they had to push the wedding back a few minuets while he took a shower. they just celebrated thier 25th year together, they had family members re-inact that great day. it was a good chuckle.

wish everyone luck on opener, I will take some pictures and post them of my duck boat, we have been working on it for the last month, almost got her ready for water.

Great news everybody. I spent the last week in Mexico with my new wife and have sweet talked my way into missing the wedding. It seems as though she is also too tired to go and has decided to only go to the church and dinner by herself. Yah for me. It was actually her idea.

My dog is in South Dakota right now getting a jump on things. Can’t wait for Saturday!!! Thanks to everyone with the standing offers. It going to be a good time duck’in this year.
