Just wondering if anyone has good way to make a duck boat blind. I will be building it for a 14′ Jon Boat, with plans to build it out of, conduit(sp).

Or, does anyone know of a website that has, ” do it yourself” blinds.

    Thanks for the info.

Think on this, some build scissors blinds out of conduit using fastgrass and plastic netting to keep the shape of the blind the way you want it. only problem is the X in the front and back of the boat make it hard to get in and out.
The way you get around this is to secure 4 posts to your boat. 2 in the front 2 in the back, bolt the posts 2 the sides of the benches. Then make a rail for
each side, zip tie the plastic netting to the rail and leave
it long enough to hang over the side of your boat then zip on some fastgrass. Then all you have to do is lift the rail hook it on the post and in less than 2 minutes you are fully camo’d

I went through this a few years ago, looked at the “scissors type” and decided to go ahead and make my own out of conduit. went with 3/4″ conduit this time, used a bender much stronger, and welded the seams…
