Where’s all the chatter?

Inside of two weeks till early goose and almost no one talking about it! Where’s the goose hunter’s? I know Drake has to be getting ready. Where you at?

Here’s my question of the day. Flocked heads…. Are they worth the time? I have 2 dozen big foot dekes that I haven’t flocked. Is it TRUELY worth the time and money to do this? They are in seriouse need of some TLC so I figure this will be as good a time as any.

Yes it would be worth your time 2 doz. shouldnt take but a few hours to do. To avoid complete monotous I only do about six at a time. But they look nice but it will rub off without some extra care.

I goose hunted in New Zealand a few years back and all we had were half cut car tires with white patches on them. They seemed to do the trick just fine.

The flocked heads are pretty nice, but if the birds are close enough to tell if they are flocked, then the birds are usually dead. I think the arrangement and calling are the most important pieces of the puzzle.

With that said, I just bought some full bodies with flocked heads. They look cool to me.
