Iowa 90 Day Goose Season

    This isn’t final until tomorrow (Aug 10) but here are the new proposed goose season dates:

    Canada goose season was lengthened from 70 to 90
    days.

    Season dates – north zone. Canada geese and brant: September 30 through December 10, December 16 through January 2, 2007.

    Season dates – south zone. Canada geese and brant: September 30 through October 8 and October 21 through January 9, 2007

    Bag limit. Daily bag limit is 2 Canada geese, 2 white-fronted geese, 1 brant,
    and 20 snow geese.

    Season dates. September 9 through September 10. (Canada Geese only)
