MN Early goose

Sept 2 is coming quick! Only 23 days!!!!! I will be in Annandale. Anyone else know where there heading yet?

Had the calls out last night blowing off the dust. The boss wasn’t real happy. Not sure if it was the noise or the dog running around the house going nuts!

I’d be excited if I were you too….My problem, I have the decoys, just no metro field to hunt. I gave up trying last year…We purchased 5 dozen full bodies, which look SWEET sitting out in the field..along with a few dozen other shells. I’ll have to wait for the trip to Manitoba.

I am paitently waiting as well!! I am hunting around Hutchinson. We get a ton of pressure out here, but if you can find a field, watch out !! Maybe, we should plan an IDA Early Goose Hunt 2006???? 690reece

that would be great to have a IDA goose hunt. Here in the metro it is near impossible to secure a field. I usually go down near windom but for early season the crops are in and there isnt much decent hunting till the corn comes out. I have a couple dozen full bodies and a couple dozen shells with motion stakes all are flocked heads. A finisher blind and bunch of other things to contribute. Also a 6×12 enclosed trailer. If anyone would put up with a tag along i can contribute to the hunt.

I’d be in for that one…would love it if I could let me 10 and 8 year old boys tag along. They’d have a ball, they did awesome with me a couple of years ago in a field that I had available to hunt, that now has million dollar homes on it.
