IDA Rochester Goose Hunt.

Ya know…………I did’nt have much fun! I must have missed something about how much fun it was! All Tim and his helpers do was pick on me the whole time! Tim……..Can you get your big out there and dig those pits about 1 foot deeper??? I might have to go again with a smaller group so Danny can get some better shots. We had fun.Even though Danny did’nt think he did.
Thanks to M & M and to Moose (the dog) who gave me a face bath, For their hospitality also. That couch was awefully comfy while watching Escanba in Da Moonlight!

I don’t know about that! I had a hard time standing up because my legs were all cramped up! If I sat on the crate, It was to low and If I crouched,my legs got cramped. All was good though as we did get some shooting in.The only complaint Danny had was by the time he got the door open and ready to shoot,the birds were too far out already. Oh well, Guess he’ll have to grow alittle more.

Don’t feel bad Lars. My Uncle had a very similar experience happen to him up in Canada. He “shot” a Duck and brought it back to where his field blind was. When we were up there, a bunch of guys in our group were taking their birds and laying them out in front of them with their wings spread out. Sorta like a decoy. Anyway, he lays out his Duck and even props the head up on a stick. About 20min. or so later he’s hollering for someone to shoot his Duck. It got up in front of him and flew off. By the time he noticed it flying, the Duck was out of his range. We never did get that bird back.
