Got back from west-central Mizz. on sunday and we took home 175 birds for a few days “work” , though we didn’t see the push we thought we’d see there were still birds to be had. We didn’t see the mile long flocks or the 2,000+ bird tornados that we are accustomed to, still, most of our shots were at or under 40 yards, and we did have birds land in our spread. We shot real mature birds but not that many ross’, made us wonder if Arkansas is still full of birds. All-in-all another great trip and am wondering where this weekend will take me.

LARS. I am heading down tomorrow afternoon. I talked with Mike last night and they shot 61 yesterday. He said the birds were still rolling into NW Missouri and there is alot of them there right know. I will let everyone know how it goes Monday when I get back.

As of 2-27-06 there are 380,000 Snow’s at Squaw Creek Refuge per the Missouri Dnr.

Just got back from Missouri. I will have a full post soon. Shot 394 in 3 1/2 days between 4 fields. There must be around 500k on the two refuges right now. It is unbelievable on how many geese are there and reports of around 1 million still down south.
