National goose contest

    Monday’s Postbulletin had a preview that say’s watch for Thursdays edtion for a National goose contest.Has anyone any idea what this is all about?

    Goose contest

    Last year they were looking for an 18 ponder, but nobody produced……so this year they dropped the weight down to 17#……still no proof one exsists

    I think it’ll be won next year when they drop the weight down to 16#……for a dozen free drop zones it’s worth bringing a scale into the feild with ya

    Yeah, duckhunter.net has had some heated discusssions over the weights of some Giant Canadians. Specifically, like Jake said, the existance of 18# geese. I think that if anyone had proof in 2004, they were going to award the winner a dozen Hardcore dekes (or something like that).

    Well I say if you dont care, then dont read this topic,because I care and for my own benefit would like to see if a 16 lb. goose really exists. If nobody has one then let this topic rest in peace So with that said dont post anything on this subject unless its a picture of a huge goose that has been weighed by an accurate scale.

    Here Shoot ‘n Releases large goose. I think this one could have used another year though.
