ILLINOIS GOOSE…WOW!!!!!

    JUST RETURNED THIS MORNING FROM THREE DAYS IN ILLINOIS. ICAN HONESTLY SAY THAT IT WAS BAR NONE THE BEST TRIP IVE EVER BEEN ON. SEEN MORE GEESE IN 3 DAYS THAN IVE SEEN IN WIS IN 5 YRS COMBINED. UNBELIVABLE RESPONSIVE BIRDS, MONSTER SPREADS, 10-12 GUYS SHOOTING LIMITS LITERALLY IN 10-15 MIN. 1 OF MY FREINDS FIELDS HAD 8-10000 GEESE AND DUCKS IN IT. I EVEN MANAGED TO SEE NOT ONE BUT TO RARE ELUSIVE BLONDE HEN MALLARDS. IT WAS UNREAL ILL BE BACK THERE WITHIN 2 WEEKS FOR SURE

    I concur, waterfowler99!! I was out on the Des Plaines river on Sunday and saw more birds than I ever have. It was unbelievable!!

    I have some friends down there and they are knocking the ducks out right know and the geese are on the move down there.
