Well there it was, the last day for ducks. It really feels like someone died or something because for the last 2 months, all Ive thought about in my mind was ducks ducks ducks. I had the best season I have ever had shooting tons of ducks, and managed a few trophies as well. I have a bunch of pictures of a few hunts the last week where we had done very well. Got a beautiful sprig on thursday while hunting in trempleau with a buddy of mine. went by my self earlier in the week and got a limit of mallards and roosters. had a awesome day yesterday shooting 16 birds out of a spring that runs into a big bay, and finally ending the season with a mediocre day but with a banded suzie! how did everyone else wrap the season up???

    Gooood Eat’en!

WOW! What a great time to be a bird hunter! Sure wish we had shooting like that when I was your age!

Seldom saw a goose and when you did it was 5 miles high heading south. Either the mallard season was closed or we had a one drake limit. Pheasants? If you saw ONE, you would brag to your buddies!

Must be all the steel shot saveing the waterfowl!

I’m guessing your looking forward to next year huh?
