I agree with matz, give N, S, E or W. Otherwise, whats the point? I don’t think you will be giving away any spots, along with guns or shells. Give me a break.

Ripper, so if your in Southern MN and I give a report about Northern MN why does it matter to you??? Are all the birds I see going to come to the area your hunting or are you a die hard hunter and going to go to the birds?? If I am hunting the week or weekend I want to shoot birds, so I will go to the area where the birds are even if that means driving 5 hours…….Maybe you sit in the same spot all season waiting for the birds up north to come down south to your spot (which is fine as well, but it isn’t me)……That is why some people don’t give out every cent of information. Plus it is different everyday as waterfowl this time of the year are always on the move for the most part.

You are getting a dime and you want a dollar.

Chriss……keep the shells, b/c I reload my own, but I will take the Nova and your spot. ha ha ha

We shot one of the most beautiful Drake Greenies i’ve ever seen last weekend. The spots on his chest and the mask over his eyes had perfect defenition. I thought about mounting it. If there wasn’t holes in the bill I would probably would have.

You need spare parts for your duck? They aren’t perfect, but you might be able to get a bill or 2 if you want.

There was a raft of ~75-100 divers on Lake Peterson (just above L&D #4) on Sunday. Of course…this is in the refuge.

Buck all Im am saying is it doesnt do much good to say I saw thousands of geese yesterday the end.I Live in Oronoco area but I hunt ducks an hour away on the Miss. and I hunt geese near my home.So if people want a migratoin report it is important to give some details or it is senseless.I dont need specific county or township or even adress.Just a general part of the state. So sit down and shut-up Buck

Not sure how it would look with the beak, but that would be one heck of a sprig for a pinnie if you get a nice one of them.

Who said I shot those ducks fish? There you go making assumptions again.

P.S. I only blow a $8 call so it sounds like a teal right and not a high dollar call like you blow which makes a sound like a mallard. Good job Fish!

I respect the fact that some do not want to expose the area they hunt to any more pressure than needed. I hunt 20 mminutes west of the metro area. I have no choice to hunt shoulder to shoulder at time. Plus I have some honey holes that everyone moving birds helps my cause.

If you just say I saw thousands of geese. No problem. At least we know there moving. You wouldn’t see flocks of 100 let alone 1k in minnesota if they weren’t moving. At least it’s somthing.

Fish, I am on the forum and as far as I am concerned hitting a teal at mach 9 is a lot more fun then shooting at a fat mallard 1 inch off the water. Unless don’t have the skill to do that then I guess you can shoot at whatever you want. Last time I checked, Teal are real ducks.

    Waterswat,

I think those teal were flying mach 10 instead of mach 9….
