Hunted on Saturday on pool 8, saw the first swans of the year. Only four of them, but it usually means the birds will be coming soon. good luck hunting–John

Kind of late coming down this year aren’t they?
Have not seen that many geese or ducks when I’ve been on the river for this time of year.

It sure is alot warmer this year than the last few, most things are about 3 weeks behind what they usually are. Things here look like were in for a warmer winter.

Accuweather.com shows mid to upper 50’s all the way out past the 12th of the month. One day with a high of 43, but other than that highs near 60, and lows in the mid 40’s. That’s not going to do a thing.

lately, we have been seeing some signs of a colder winter actually. My mom likes to watch the birds at our house and she says the Jincos (spelling?) are are already out which is a sign of a cold aproaching winter..all though there are no signs yet weather wise….the potential seems to be there. I have also heard talk about early winter because they are already seeing good snow fall out west and some people say that has something to do with it…
    who knows?
