went back to my slough where i took that guy for that guide job. me and a buddy from alma went. at one point about 10-15 min after it opened, the sky was absolutly black with ducks. 90% mallards, the rest woodies and teal. had 8 mallards, 3 woodies, and a tealy bopper but i dont think it was even 730. VERY good day. this looks to be a very promising year with the water the way it is and the amount of ducks in the area already. just got home from scouting tomarrows spot. looks good there too. i will post some pics tonite after i get back from work.

heres one with my buddy. the ducks really didnt show up very good in the picture. i CAN assure you that there are no more than 2 hens. ther rest of the mallards, all the woodies and even the teal were drakes.

Nice bunch! I did well myself this morning. Nice thick fog for sunrise. Was done by 10 am. 3 Mallards, 1 GW teal, 1 BW teal, and Gad. Now I gotta go replace a wheel bearing on the trailer.

But I won’t be burning up any sick days or vacation days from work till it gets colder and nastier.

fish, i would just and see that your camera doesn’t have a timer…………..then you wouldn’t have to worry about posting the same pic 10 times. i know most cameras anymore usually have it, but not always.

there is a timer but i dont have a tri pod or anything. not really any good places to put a camera unless i somehow wedged it between a tree or somethen. i have to post the same picture twice or else some wise guy would say that i shot twice my limit and said there was just someone else with me
